my favorite story of the pope is when he went to see the guy who shot him and he forgave him...thats such a crazy inspiring story. theres something about those moments when people perfectly embody the love we strive to emanate...he just let that go. theres something amazing about letting things go and really really letting them go not maliciously doing so just so everyone knows that the fault lies with the other. my roommate is giving away like all her possessions because she feels like they weigh her down...and im doing the same with my heart...giving away all those things ive been holding onto resentfully. im not waiting for the chance to lay it out for you anymore. im no longer looking for the opportunity to make you feel the way youve made me feel. im letting it go...and thats real this time. ive never meant it like i do now. i dont need the weight of you anymore. no more expectations, because my heart is tired of being disappointed.
